EDUCATION PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Practice Management Education - In person events

The subject matter of our educational programs are always relevant to the ever changing atmosphere of healthcare. These are typically one-hour or 90-minute sessions.

Lunch & Learn (Webinars)

HLA Maryland offers several webinars each year to provide convenient education options to members across the state.  These programs are also archived with recordings available in the member-only section of our website.  These are one-hour sessions, typically offered on the first Thursday of every month from 12:00-1:00PM EST.

Payer Days

Held annually, Payer Day provides the perfect opportunity for billing managers, supervisors and staff to have direct access to insurance carriers. Participants can interact with insurance carrier representatives as well as receive in-depth knowledge from our experienced featured speakers.

Legislative Forum

Our goal to increase the legislature’s awareness of HLA Maryland and to educate legislators on the issues which affect physician reimbursement and healthcare regulations which, potentially adversely affect patient’s access to care in our state.

State Conference

Our premier event of the year consists of two keynote sessions and concurrent sessions as well as 2 networking events!
