What you will be working on:
• Register and greet patients and answer multiple phone lines
• Schedule procedures
• Verify Insurance
• Prepare charts
• Knowledge of billing, invoicing and medical records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize
• Assisting clinical team in delivering high quality professional care while achieving optimal patient satisfaction
• Other administrative duties as assigned
What you’ll know:
• A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED required, some college is preferred
• 2-3 years prior experience working in medical office, preferably in an ASC or GI Suite
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Work independently as well as a in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with patients, co-workers and providers
• Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism
